Bernadetha is such a sweet lady! I ordered these meals for delivery ahead of a busy work week I had because I couldn't come home and cook. The rice and curry was perfect and just enough salt. Every component has a great flavor and depth simply amazing come on out and support Bernadetha, you won't regret it.!
Great value and the flavour really lands. The maharage ya nazi na wali is an unexpected favourite, the coconut has soaked right into the beans. I reheat it in two minutes and it's ready
Very good overall. The mishikaki is my favourite, the meat is grilled just right and full of flavour. Only one thing, one container leaked a little during delivery but the food was still fine. I'm definitely ordering again
Good food, very tasty. I wish there were a few more options but the coconut chickpea and spinach we got was solid, and the coconut spinach on top is a really nice touch
Swahili chicken biryani is packed with protein and keeps me full for hours, the chicken pieces are plenty. Three weeks in now, down six pounds, no complaints
Me I'm very particular about spicy food, my people don't joke with anything bland. The kamba wa kupaka has the real heat and proper coconut flavour, not the watered-down kind. Respect. The vegetables are also on point
I was a bit doubtful because most meal preps taste like cardboard once you reheat, but this one is steady my friend?? The Swahili beef biryani, the spice has gone all the way in and the rice is fluffy and well separated. I've already told everyone at work
I've been doing meal prep for two years now but nothing beats this one, I tell you. The kuku wa kupaka, that coconut sauce is too sweet, and the vegetables are not soggy at all, the cabbage and carrots still have their crunch. The portion is also generous, me I eat a lot and I was still completely full. I cancelled my old subscription that same day
The 5+1 plan is so worth it for the price. The nyama ya kusaga with curry rice is so tasty, the spice has soaked into everything. The only problem now is I don't feel like cooking ever again, haha
Solid meal prep. The Swahili beef biryani was the standout, that kachumbari kick is dangerous my brother. I'm taking off one star because delivery came a day late, but customer service was very kind and added a free side. I can't even be angry
My husband usually doesn't like 'healthy food' but he finished the whole mishikaki and asked when the next box is coming. That's how you know it's good
My work schedule is crazy so this is a real lifesaver, just grab and go. The kamba wa kupaka is my go-to, it tastes fresh, not freezer-y like you'd expect. The packaging is also far less wasteful than my old service, I appreciate that
I've been eating this for a whole month now. The consistency is what gets me, every plate of biryani is cooked perfectly, the rice is never dry. The vegetables and chicken pieces are always just right. I recommend it plenty
I switched from a big-name meal kit brand and it's night and day. Proper seasoning, proper portions. The kuku wa kupaka made me a believer, the chicken has that nice char. I'm not going back
As a vegan I'm usually an afterthought, but the coconut chickpea and spinach?? The spinach, the coconut, the chickpeas, I was shook. You can tell they actually put in real effort
Kuku wa kupaka is my comfort meal now. Mix the warm rice with that coconut sauce and the chicken and I'm gone. The vegetables on the side add a nice touch too
I travel for work and having these ready when I reach home is a game changer. No more sad airport dinners. The Swahili beef stew is restaurant quality, I'm not exaggerating, and it's still packed with protein. Worth every shilling
